The “wow, so many things to say” post

Wow, I am a little bit disappointed that I haven’t updated this blog every day.  Even though, I just missed yesterday.  Anyways, that’s life.  As much as you want to do something, it’s always delayed because of circumstances one can’t control.  Life huh?  Control is something I am a huge freak over.  I always have to have control, and when it comes clear that control isn’t something I truly am capable of having, I physically and mentally break down.  Anyways, today’s blog isn’t meant for my ranting, maybe sometime in the future I will do it, but right now, I have more interesting things to talk about.

Because I didn’t post yesterday, I have a lot to say, so sit down, get some Orange soda, or something.  Cause this may take a while.

While being bored, as I am confined to these 4 walls and no, I am not in prison lol, I came across some interesting information. Being the control freak I am, it did appeal to me.  As psychotic as the procedures are, it’s proven to work.  Proven in cases that of course, people have been brought to trial and found guilty of using these same methods.  It deals with the fact that victims, become highly sympathetic towards their kidnappers, a syndrome called:  Stockholm_Syndrome.  The methods of control, are what most kidnappers use, to control their victims and basically brainwash them.  It’s the reason for the coining up of the Stockholm Syndrome.  It’s a psychological manipulation, that proceeds such harsh behaviors caused between a kidnapper and their victim.

From various cases that involved this, 8 steps of brainwashing have been developed for psychologists to use in evaluations and in the cases that involved these harsh behaviors.  As much as the steps are somewhat, inhumane to perform on another person, I am sure if one can analyze it, in a deeper sense, they can use some aspects of it to actually have control over their life, or if they please, others!

8 steps to brainwashing someone

1. Confinement under inhuman conditions to lower resistance.

2. The insistence on confession of past misdeeds.

3. Manipulating confessions into the context of the ideology. The confession becomes self-criticism.

4. Telling the person that his former society had turned against him.

5. “Undeserved” liberties are granted commensurate with the person’s conversion, which makes the person grateful to his captors.

6. The person’s weakened physical state and feeling of shame and inferiority merge into a bond with the captor.

7. Captors prove their sincerity by using the same tactics on their fellow prisoners.

8. Even upon returning to society, the person will experience confusion and doubt.

Like mentioned, they are sharp and anyone that would actually use the above methods, in a literal sense, should be found guilty and sentenced to prison for a very long period of time. The brainwash isn’t truly revealed much in that case, but the whole detailed information on the “brainwashing” someone, is explained in detail. The best case to read, about how these steps can actually change a person, is the case of Patty Hearst.

Besides the interesting side of the controlling of others, which maybe an obsessive thing with me.  Seeing as control is something I crave, I do know those above methods are highly ridiculous and dangerous. Not sure how someone can live with themselves, after doing such drastic acts of evil towards someone else.

For a more humorous part of my post, I got bored yesterday and went onto Snopes.  I am not sure if you’ve visited this site before, but it’s Disney Urban legend, or conspiracy section,is quite amusing.

I am not sure if you Disney lovers have heard about the conspiracy behind Disney and their cartoons.  But, it would be my greatest pleasure, to run it down for you. See, it’s believed that for a very long time, like even 60 years, that Disney has been placing obscene material into their cartoons.  I am not sure if it’s done by cartoonists or the animators that work for Disney, or if it’s the script writers, whomever is the one that’s doing it, doesn’t matter truly. The matter of it all, is that the Disney name is placed on all of these cartoons that have rumored to have sexually, explicit, subliminal information (if you want to call it that), in such cartoon movies as; The Litter Mermaid (little buggers changed the cover of the Little Mermaid Dvd!), Aladdin, and The Lion King.

I want to take the time to actually give you some actual audio, or clips of these rumored but yet documented instances.  It’s up to you to decide on whether it’s truly a scandal that’s being made from the Disney corporation, or if it’s just the subjective mind taking over.  I mean, sometimes we hear what we wanna hear right? Or maybe it’s just plain simple to hear what’s actually there and stop denying it!

First, I am going to start with one of the most famous of these scandals, and it happens to occur in Aladdin.

Now, Snopes, claims that this is a False one. I am not sure if I want to believe them on this, but they are good with keeping unbiased on their claims of Falsehood or not.  But, even though that’s the case, I always like to listen to these audio clips and confirm it for myself.

In Aladdin, there’s a scene where he goes onto the blacany of Jasmine’s room, and he meets up with the Tiger.  In this scene, he whispers something under his breath, that clearly isn’t that audioable to the average viewer. It’s understood also that there’s no one else in the scene that could have mentioned these words.  For one, it’s a male voice. This rules out Jasmine, and the genie and the monkey are out of view and aren’t even in the scene, so to have them say something, would be highly confusing for anyone to understand the need for it.   In this scene, Aladdin says to the Tiger, as quoted from Snopes; “C’mon . . . good kitty. Take off and go”.  Now, I know the close-caption is shown saying, “Good kitty. Take off.” But I don’t understand how any of those statements could be mistaken for the obscene statements that’s heard on the audio clips; “Good teenagers, take off your clothes.” 

After listening to the audio clips myself, it’s clear to hear that there are clearly, 2 distinct voices.  First, there’s Aladdin starting off saying the supposed script that’s he’s meant to say, but then you suddenly hear a deeper voice (which is quite scary), saying the rest.  Although, it doesn’t seem that Aladdin is even starting off saying what the script says he does.  I couldn’t hear a “C’mon”, in the audio clip, after replaying it over and over again.  Of course, as I listened to it more and more, it’s easy to think that what you are hearing, is what you want to hear.  But, nothing sounds like the script Disney said, Aladdin is suppose to be saying.  It doesn’t sound like any of it at all.

I guess after all my rambling, you wouldn’t even understand what I am talking about, until I actually have you take a listen yourself.  You can check out Snopes, The Aladdin “Take Off Your Clothes”, and get the whole audio clip, from slow motion, to fast motion then normal speed.  You be the judge!

Another Disney scandal I want to mention, is a little on the nudity side.  It’s clear, in this one that there is something of obscene concern in this scene.  But, it’s impossible to see it on a regular view of it, which I believe doesn’t matter to the laymen’s person, seeing as we don’t have a laserdisc or anything of the sort to actually slow these movies down and see these things.  But, it’s interesting and a little thrilling to learn about it.

This one happens to be in the drawing of Jessica Rabbit, in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.  It’s a very short scene, and yet again the images can’t be seen with regular viewing, so don’t even try going and rent it, just check it out when I am done.

Jessica Rabbit is riding in Toon Town with Bob Hoskins  in an animated cab.  An accident occurs and they are both thrown, causing Jessica Rabbit to spin. On the second spin, it seems that are underwear has completely disappeared and replaced with, well, bare buttoms if you want to call it that.  The only thing is, it’s not her butt that’s revealed.  I guess the animators wanted a little raw action, when she spun, so the butt wasn’t the one that escaped, but everything else.  I am sure this is a mistake that they can’t hide, no pun intended. There’s an obvious showing of her crotch area.  So if you ever had the hots for Jessica Rabbit, now’s the time to see it all.  I mean she used to show off her cleavage, more than I thought necessary in a Disney cartoon, but who would have thought we’d get a peak of the other stuff!

The final movie I want to focus on, is The Rescuers.  I am not sure how much of you actually saw that cartoon, but I am one of the unfortunate souls.  Well, can’t call me unfortunate, seeing as this scandal is yet another one that you can’t regularly see, if you go out and purchase the DVD. The weird part to this scandal, is the fact that Disney admitted to it, before the DVD went out for parents to purchase for their kids.  This isn’t one that nosy, haters of Disney, went after and figured this scandal out.  This was Disney actually coming out, and retracking the DVDs, because of the obscene image in it.  It’s believed that they did this, to increase the sales of the DVDs, seeing as The Rescuers isn’t a number one pick for kids nowadays.

This one happens to be a picture inserted into a scene. It’s when “Approximately 38 minutes into the film, as rodent heroes Bianca and Bernard fly through the city in a sardine box strapped to the back of Orville, proprietor of Albatross Air Charter Service, the photographic image of a topless woman can be seen at the window of a building in the background in two different (non-consecutive) frames.” (Snopes.com).  It’s quick, and it’s impossible to see, unless you get it in the still shots of course.
